Samaiden Completes Solar PV Project For Nippon Electric Glass, Strengthens EPCC Capabilities

Samaiden added that with the system, NEGM is expected to reduce approximately 6,900 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually, reinforcing its commitment to more sustainable operations and a lower-carbon future.

The completion also underscores the positive partnership between Samaiden and NEGM in bringing the project to completion.

NEGM’s managing director, Ken Hamajima, said the solar PV installation marks an important step forward for the company as it continues advancing its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) journey and taking real action to reduce its carbon footprint.

“It reflects our commitment to building a more sustainable business and ensuring that our growth is aligned with greater environmental responsibility,” he said.
